About Me
I am a writer, editor, and producer with more than 15 years of experience interviewing subjects, as well as writing and packaging stories and information in clear, concise, and compelling language. A graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, I spent almost a decade working in public radio, writing and producing everything from sound portraits and features to newscasts and hard-news spots.
I am currently the Editorial Manager at Barnard College, the most rigorous and selective of the Seven Sisters colleges, where I serve as managing editor of the quarterly alumnae magazine and oversee the production of web and multi-media content.
My work has appeared in or been heard on NPR, WBUR, Marketplace, The New York Times and Salon.com. In addition, I blog about my simultaneous love for—and uneasiness with—fashion and shopping, at Crisis in Denim.
