About Me

I am an editor and project manager with 20+ years of experience crafting compelling content and executing editorial projects online, in print, and for broadcast. As a writer, editor, and content creator with a foundation in audio journalism, I excel at translating complex, technical material into engaging pieces. I am also a standout interviewer with a keen ear for the compelling and quotable in any discussion.

Most recently, I was Senior Editor at Toptal, a global staffing platform for tech professionals, where I wrote, ghostwrote, or edited articles about UI/UX design, digital product and mobile design, and finance. I also co-produced the Talent Economy podcast and wrote articles for Staffing.com about workplace trends and the future of work.

Before that, I was the editor of Columbia Business, the alumni magazine for the 46,000+ graduates of New York City’s Ivy League business school. In addition to overseeing the twice-yearly publication, I also managed online content focusing on alumni thought leadership.

Prior to that, I was the editorial manager at Barnard College, the most rigorous and selective of the Seven Sisters colleges, where I served as managing editor of the quarterly alumnae magazine and oversaw the production of web and multi-media content.

A graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, I spent almost a decade working in public radio, writing and producing everything from sound portraits and features to newscasts and hard-news spots. My work has appeared in or been heard on NPR, WBUR, Marketplace, The New York Times and Salon.com.
